We’re crossing the Canadian Border — with our cat Mel. We didn’t know how it would go, but turned out so easy! TIPS: ➡️ have your passports ready ➡️ have your pet’s rabies certificate ready ➡️ remove hat/sunglasses ➡️ be prepared to answer a few questions; where you going, why, how long, etc. (watch vid for the questions we were asked) … and once you’re in, plug in the nearest Tim Horton’s of course! 📍Next stop, western Ontario, aka ‘Sunset Country’. We’ll be posting all about our #fitrvontario

Our gym today has million dollar views. 🤩 Here’s a fun full-body workout plan easy to do at any RV campsite (and the very exercises I did today!): 1: Plank taps 2: One leg sit to stand (beginners do with both feet down) 3: Resistance bands incline press 4: Plank pike-ups 5: Resistance bands bent rows 6: Split Jumps (beginners, do alternating plank lunges) 7: Resistance bands kickbacks 8: Single knee hugs 9: Jump Rope (beginners, do high-knee marches w/hands behind head!) Circuit 3x through. BAM

Who else jumps rope?! For me, jumping rope is a favorite way to combat osteoporosis, which runs strong in my family. But even if it doesn’t run in yours, low bone mass is common after 50! It’s another reason why load-bearing exercises that create stress are so important as we age. Jump roping also works great with the RV lifestyle since it’s so portable and you can do it anywhere. Besides all that practical stuff, it’s actually kinda fun! 🤩 Have a great weekend, all! ❤️Stef | The Fit RV

We’ve been doing a whole lotta this… wandering through various RVs here at Caravan Salon. You never know what surprises you’ll find in European RVs; like in this extra tiny Class C RV, you somehow have to move the bed to use the shower. We’re seeing lots of clever small space designs like this! | The Fit RV

RV Tour! Here’s The Happier Camper— even spotting these at campgrounds makes me happy. 🥰 They’re not only super cute, they also use modular layouts, so you can rearrange the cubes (like Lego’s!) however you want, giving you loads of options. Even better, they’re so light, even most cars can tow them. What do you think?! | The Fit RV

We couldn’t resist sharing an RV tour of this Knaus TI Plus van, because it’s similar to our Winnebago EKKO! It was fun for us to compare how Europeans vs North American manufacturers finish the same floorplan. Some noteworthy differences— the EKKO has a generator option, inverter, and much more battery power. The Knaus adds VB Suspension for a much improved ride and integrates it into the dash (we added VB suspension aftermarket and love it!). Both have bathrooms that convert between a shower s

After getting burned recently by campground water, we’re now testing it BEFORE we fill our RV fresh tank. This little gadget gives you a quick water quality grade. Is it 100% scientific? 🤷‍♂️ But it’s fast, fun, and gives you a baseline. Our new rule: If the campground water isn’t at least “Good,” we’re not filling up. 🚫🚰 And how cool is this— our FitRV water filter took that “Good” campground rating and bumped it up to “Excellent.”That’s… well… EXCELLENT!
