Mali the Asiatic lion 🦁 💚 Lions like him once ranged from Turkey to Eastern India, but were almost hunted to extinction. Today their populations are slowly recovering in a small pocket of habitat in India, and through ZSL we’ve worked with partners to protect their species. From working out in the field to contributing to the Zoo conservation breeding programme, we’re creating routes to restore these special animals.
