Our 5-axis CNC is shown here porting a set of AFR 12 degree LS3 heads. We purchase heads such these as "porter castings". These are unfinished and require us to machine our designs in for ports and usually combustion chambers. As such, all our heads are proprietary regardless of manufacturer. On the shots of the control panel, you can see the 3D rendering of the machining uderway. The letters X,Y,Z,A,B are the names of the five machine axes, all of which are simultaneously in play.
