School Choice is officially open! ✏️ Sarasota County Schools is now accepting applications for 2026–2027 K-12 School Choice through Controlled Open Enrollment. Families across Florida can apply for available seats at public schools outside their regular attendance zone. Applications are open now through Monday, March 2, 2026, and must be submitted online through the Focus Parent Portal. School Choice assignments are determined by a random lottery process, and families will be notified in April.
