I get this question ALL the time- "My isomalt went cloudy, do I need to throw it away?!" 😱 The short answer: 🙅‍♀️ NO! 🙅‍♀️ The slightly longish answer: Isomalt is hygroscopic- it absorbs moisture from its surroundings. With no preventative measures (sealing, glazing, etc), this causes the isomalt to get sticky and/or cloudy from even the smallest bit of humidity. This is normal, and can be prevented by keeping the isomalt pieces in an airtight container, packaging, or by using a clear edible
