The history of an iconic landmark, the Table Mountain cableway

The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is more than just a gateway for visitors, it's also a vital platform for mountain rescue. In partnership with Wilderness Search And Rescue WSAR Western Cape, the cable car enables rapid access for rescue teams and at times the safe evacuation of patients from the upper slopes of Table Mountain.
